Tasting Notes

Nose

Deep and resonant — thick honey, baked banana, toffee apple, mango chutney, sandalwood and vanilla pod, a glint of citrus peel cutting the richness, the concentrated signature of a single tropical cask

Palate

Full and oily — honeycomb, treacle, stewed mango, dark brown sugar, clove, cinnamon stick and a slow build of oak tannin, the 57% carrying everything without heat

Finish

Very long — warming spice, dried fruit, honeyed oak and a tropical sweetness that will not leave, a finish that earns every rupee of the price
