Tropical fruit, vanilla, honey. Bright and sweet, with mango, pineapple and a clean bourbon-oak sweetness. The subtropical maturation shows in the generosity of the fruit. Beneath it, malt and a gentle floral quality.
Palate
Sweet and fruity — tropical fruit, vanilla, a gentle oak warmth. The ex-bourbon cask provides a clean vanilla-caramel framework, allowing Kavalan's natural tropical character to express itself without competition from sherry or wine wood. A touch of spice mid-palate.
Finish
Medium, with tropical fruit and vanilla fading into a gentle warmth.
