Nose
Crisp and bright — pear, green apple, lemon peel, a drift of fresh-cut hay. Vanilla and honey sit underneath, clean and unembellished. There is a cold-water freshness about it, like air off a northern river.
Palate
Rich for its colour. Honeyed malt, baked apple, a ribbon of vanilla, then oak spice arriving with the 50% strength. A touch of dark toffee appears mid-palate, balanced by a lift of citrus pith.
Finish
Medium to long, drying gently into oak, white pepper, and a last curl of cereal sweetness. Warming and composed — a finish that earns its strength without showing off.
