Caramel, vanilla, toasted oak. Pinecone, herbal honey. The two years of age show in a youthful freshness. Savory bedding notes beneath.
Palate
Buttery mouthfeel — maple syrup, vanilla, crème fraîche up front. Pear, green apple, brown sugar mid-palate. Caramel, toasted oak, nutmeg, orange peel on the back. Easy sipper with enough flavour to keep things interesting.
Finish
Long — vanilla, maple syrup, dry oak, candied orange peel. The finish is the strongest feature — it won't quit.
