Elvis Tiger Man is a straight Tennessee whiskey produced by Grain and Barrel Spirits in partnership with Elvis Presley Enterprises. Two years old, with a mash bill of 80% corn, 10% rye and 10% malted barley, bottled at 90 proof. Named for the legendary 1968 comeback special where Elvis wore his iconic black leather suit.
The whiskey is young and doesn't hide it — but the easy-sipping character and the surprisingly long finish make it more rewarding than many celebrity spirits. The buttery mouthfeel and the maple-vanilla sweetness are genuine and appealing, even if the overall profile is light.
Elvis Tiger Man delivers more than most celebrity whiskeys — a genuinely easy-drinking Tennessee whiskey with an excellent long finish. The price is reasonable, the quality genuine if modest, and the Elvis connection is handled with more respect than many celebrity endorsements manage. A very easy sipper with The King's name on it.
