I'd never tried anything from this distillery before and I'm genuinely impressed. Deep copper colour, aromas of dried apricot and toasted almond, and a palate with wonderful weight and texture. There's a savoury note underneath that gives it real character. Will definitely be buying more.

Gorgeous nose of butterscotch, fresh-cut oak, and a hint of orange peel. On the palate it's smooth and layered with lovely warmth that builds gently. The finish has a pleasant nutty sweetness that makes you reach for another sip. Perfect neat or with a single ice cube.

Not trying to be anything it isn't — just honest, well-made whiskey with warm honey notes, a touch of cinnamon, and a clean finish. The kind of bottle you open on a Tuesday night and feel genuinely pleased about. Great value at this price point.
