Nose
Yamazaki Tsukuriwake Selection Mizunara: Joney and fresh melon, soft and sweet. There are light whiffs of grass and cut flowers. Behind the softness is oak and peat smoke rounding out the flavor. Suntory World Whisky ‘Ao’: Slight smokiness that then turns into rich, fruity sweetness.
Both whiskeys present distinct aromatic profiles. The differences on the nose already hint at the divergent tasting experiences to come.
