Tasting Notes

Nose

Baked apple, raisin, honeyed almond and a waft of old oak. Beneath, a suggestion of marmalade and vanilla fudge.

Palate

Smooth and rounded. Sultana, toffee, roasted nut and a modest grip of clove and cinnamon. Sherry cask influence is clearer than in the 15, without tipping the balance.

Finish

Long and gently drying, with walnut, oak spice and a trace of dark honey.
