Honey and cinnamon — green peppers, nutmeg, orchard fruits, vanilla, toasted oak, crisp barley core, the pot still component providing spicy richness, the 43.2% adding warmth

Finish

Long — pot still oils and spices slowly fading to rich barley, toasted wood, complex honey, the pub-pour heritage in the warm, satisfying close

Expert Review

7/10

Ireland's number one selling whiskey — what Irish pubs have poured for generations. Pot still and grain whiskies from Midleton in American oak casks. Cinnamon, clove, russet apples, and ripe pears over charred oak. A long finish with pot still oils and complex honey. Higher proof than Jameson at 43.2%.
