Tasting Notes

Nose

Slightly dry — citrus, crisp red apple, spices, subtle fresh spearmint, the Speyside triple-malt character clean and inviting

Palate

Sweet creamy fruit — cinnamon, vanilla, a hint of green pepper, salted pretzel, slightly creamy texture with lush freshness, the bourbon cask maturation producing approachable sweetness

Finish

Short to medium — clean and lightly sweet, vanilla and soft oak fading quickly, mild cinnamon warmth, unpretentious

Expert Review

7/10

Three Speyside single malts — Glenfiddich, Balvenie, and Kininvie — blended into one accessible, cocktail-friendly malt whisky. Named for the arm strain injury malt shovellers sustained turning barley by hand. Creamy, sweet, and consistent at 43%. The bartender's favourite Scotch.
