Tasting Notes

Nose

Gentle grassiness, demure vanilla, bashful rye. Modest and quiet — the nose of a young grain spirit finding its feet. A pleasant agricultural quality.

Palate

Dense texture — a viscous scaffold for butterscotch and brandy cream. Cooling cardamom against warming chilli spice. Grassiness returns as uncooked chestnuts. The three grain varieties create surprising harmony.

Finish

Creamy with spiced notes. Short but not harsh.

Expert Review

7.5/10

An English single grain from Kent — three grain varieties through pot and column stills, creating a surprisingly textured young spirit.
