Tasting Notes

Nose

Youthful and intensely aromatic — tropical fruit lurking beneath classic sherry notes. Mango skin, dried pineapple, polished oak and a thread of dark molasses. Tobacco leaf and walnut emerge with time.

Palate

Vivid, oily, almost electrified. Dark cherry, prune, espresso and bitter orange. The cask strength delivers spice — black pepper, clove, a faint chilli warmth — alongside layered dried fruit sweetness.

Finish

Very long. Cocoa, Pedro Ximenez raisin, leather and a final ember of peat-like smoke that may simply be old wood remembering itself.
