Nose
Fresh-baked banana nut bread, sweet caramel and maple syrup. Dulce de leche, vanilla, oak, baking spice, milk chocolate, a touch of sponge cake. The 100 proof gives the familiar JD nose more authority.
Palate
Oak, caramel cake, roasted corn, baking spice, vanilla, toast, a touch of earthiness and dried cherries. The bonded strength turns up the volume on everything without dramatically departing from the familiar Jack Daniel's character. The Lincoln County Process charcoal mellowing is still present.
Finish
Caramel, graham cracker and burnt oak in a sugary warmth, with persistent spicy heat. More assertive than standard JD.
