Tasting Notes

Nose

Rum sweetness, dried fruit, a mature oak warmth. The Caribbean rum cask finishing adds tropical notes to the mature Glenfiddich spirit. Beneath the rum, vanilla, toffee and a gentle warmth. Exotic and mature.

Palate

Sweet and mature — rum, dried fruit, a gentle oak spice. Twenty-one years provide genuine depth, and the rum finishing adds an exotic sweetness. Mid-palate brings dark toffee, a gentle spice and a warm, generous sweetness. At 40%, smooth but could use more strength.

Finish

Long, with rum sweetness and mature oak sustaining warmly.
