Nose
Light malt, toffee, a touch of cereal sweetness. Clean and inoffensive, with a faint fruitiness — pear, perhaps — and a whisper of oak. Functional rather than aromatic.
Palate
Sweet and light — grain, vanilla, a gentle malty warmth. The Highland Park and Macallan malt content provides a backbone that lifts it above the cheapest blends, but the grain dominates. Easy-drinking to the point of anonymous.
Finish
Short, clean, with a whisper of malt and grain sweetness.
