Nose
Honey sweet with gingerbread, cinnamon and a hint of spicy oak. The bourbon base provides vanilla, and the Cabernet Sauvignon finishing adds a warm, wine-derived spice.
Palate
Full, round and sweet with a final hint of spice. The three years in bourbon followed by eleven months in 225L Cabernet Sauvignon barrels create a wine-influenced, accessible whisky. Golden copper colour, good viscosity.
Finish
Warm and lingering. The Cabernet influence sustains gently.
