Tasting Notes

Nose

Toasted almonds and caramelised toffee — poached pears, cinnamon, anise, wild honey, breakfast cereals, the triple distillation producing delicate, inviting aromatics

Palate

Green apples — candied and fresh, underlying maltiness, rolled pastry, brown sugar, pear juice, ginger, chopped hazelnuts, vanilla, honey, light oak spice, the 40% providing smooth approachability

Finish

Short — maltiness with orchard fruits and wine gums, the Lowland lightness in the close, clean and refreshing

Expert Review

7/10

Scotland's only triple-distilled single malt — the Lowland tradition producing a lighter, smoother spirit. Twelve years in ex-bourbon and sherry casks. Toasted almonds, caramelised toffee, poached pears, and wild honey. Subtle elegance over bold peat. Perfect for those who prefer refinement.
