Nose
Warm date molasses and rum-soaked sultanas bloom first, then crushed cardamom, stewed mango and a wisp of vanilla-laced brandy cream.
Palate
Rich and syrupy — black cherry, demerara, clove-studded orange peel and a dark sherry undertow, all carried on Amrut's signature tropical oiliness.
Finish
Long and resinous, with sticky toffee pudding, toasted oak and a dusting of nutmeg that lingers warmly on the tongue.
