Tasting Notes

Nose

Caraway seed, warm pumpernickel, cinnamon bark, orange oil and a floral lift of dried rose petal.

Palate

Peppery and herbal — rye bread crust, clove, candied ginger, dark honey and a savoury thread of dill seed.

Finish

Long, dry and spicy, with black pepper, anise and toasted oak fading slowly into mint.

Expert Review

8.2/10

An East Anglian rye built from 75% malted rye and 25% malted barley — spicy, herbal and unusually perfumed for an English whisky.
