Butterscotch, banana, date-like honeyed dried fruit. The twelve years of ex-bourbon maturation add genuine depth. Guava, tropical fruit and a composed maturity.
Palate
Vanilla, ripe figs, light spice. Green apple, honey, roasted nuts. Mandarin orange, anise and floral complexity. The 100% East Anglian malted barley and Suffolk terroir create a distinctive English character. At 51.2% cask strength, genuine body.
Finish
Bright and elegant — a notably long finish that reviewers consistently praise.
