Expert Review
7.5/10Double cask matured in ex-bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry butts. A step up from the 12, with noticeably more depth and dried fruit from the extended maturation. Some newer bottlings reduced from 43% to 40% — diminishing the impact slightly. The balance between bourbon sweetness and sherry richness is the hallmark.
