Expert Review
8.5/10From Japan's first and oldest malt whisky distillery, established 1923 by Shinjiro Torii on the outskirts of Osaka. First released in 1984. Matured in a combination of American oak, Spanish Oloroso sherry, and the rare Japanese Mizunara oak — which contributes a distinctive spicy-sweet, floral character found nowhere else in the whisky world.
