Tasting Notes

Nose

Red berry fruit, dark malt, a gentle wine sweetness. The Pinot Noir finishing adds a distinctive Willamette Valley character — raspberry, cherry, a gentle tannic structure. Beneath the wine, the rich Westward malt — biscuity, dark, cereal-deep. Pacific Northwest in a glass.

Palate

Fruity and malty — Pinot Noir berries, dark malt, a gentle wine richness. The Oregon Pinot casks add a red fruit dimension that complements Westward's naturally rich, dark malt character. Mid-palate brings dark chocolate, dried cherry and a gentle warmth. A beautiful pairing.

Finish

Long, with red fruit and dark malt sustaining together.

8.2/10

Portland single malt finished in Oregon Pinot Noir casks — the Willamette Valley's two finest exports in one bottle.
