Tasting Notes

Nose

Raisin bread, fig roll, dark chocolate and walnut. A glug of dried orange peel and a backbone of toasted malt.

Palate

Generous and rounded. Sticky dates, plum jam, cocoa and maple, then sherried oak tannins that frame rather than dominate. Hazelnut and clove arrive late.

Finish

Long, nutty, faintly raisined. Dark chocolate fade with a polished oak edge.
