Expert Review

8/10

Tomatin's first cask strength core-range release (2015). Marriage of ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks. Non-chill filtered, natural colour. Tomatin sits at 1,028ft in the Monadhliath foothills near Inverness. Japanese-owned. 57.5%. Superb value cask strength — surprisingly drinkable.
