I wanted to love this more than I did. The nose is fantastic — raisins, peat smoke, and something almost like wet forest floor. On the palate it's a bit hot even for 57.1%, and the PX sweetness fights with the bog character rather than complementing it. Still a solid dram and I respect what Thy is doing with Danish whisky.

The bog influence here is genuinely unique — earthy, mossy, almost medicinal but in a good way. The PX cask rounds it out with dried figs and dark chocolate. At 57.1% it's a proper cask strength punch but adding a few drops of water opens up this gorgeous honey sweetness underneath.
