Nose
Honey-glazed pear, toasted almond, vanilla custard and a soft drift of orchard blossom. A faint, faraway curl of coastal smoke gives it gravity.
Palate
Beautifully balanced. Heather honey, apricot jam on warm toast, marzipan, a quiet wash of brine and a note of barley sugar. There is real weight here, but it carries lightly.
Finish
Long and elegant, finishing on dried fruit, soft oak spice and a clean, slightly saline echo.
