15 reviewsTeaninich isn't a distillery I reach for often, but this 14 year old surprised me. Nice waxy quality with some citrus peel and malty sweetness. At nearly £95 though, I'd want a bit more complexity for the money — there are other independent bottlings in that range I'd grab first.

30 March 2026Always thought Teaninich was underrated and this Berry Bros bottling proves it. 14 years in what I assume is a bourbon cask has given it this lovely balance of orchard fruit, light spice, and a slightly oily texture. I drink it neat with just a splash of water. Really well selected cask.

19 March 2026Had this at a friend's tasting night. It's a well-made Highland dram — clean, fruity, a bit of cereal sweetness underneath. The cask strength ABV carries it well without being hot. I enjoyed it but wouldn't say it blew my mind. Perfectly decent for what it is.

16 January 2026Bought this on a whim and I'm so glad I did. The nose is all honey and green apple, then the palate delivers this gorgeous mix of vanilla, white pepper, and dried herbs. Full strength neat is intense but rewarding. Already thinking about grabbing a backup bottle.

10 January 2026This is a cracking single cask bottling. At 57.2% it's got real punch — honey, baked orchard fruit, and a peppery kick on the finish. A few drops of water opens it right up. Berry Bros know what they're doing with their Odyssey picks.
