This is exactly what I want from a sherried Speyside — dark fruit, Christmas cake, and a hint of bitter chocolate on the finish. At 57.5% it's got serious punch but a splash of water opens it right up. Batch Strength series from Tamdhu has been consistently good and No 8 doesn't disappoint.
