Look, it's a solid single malt with some nice honeyed cereal notes and a gentle smoky finish. But at £91 I keep comparing it to what I could get from Speyside or the Islands for that money. Worth trying once for the novelty factor, just not sure I'd rebuy.

I grabbed this on a whim not knowing much about Swedish whisky and was genuinely impressed. At 45% it's got a nice warmth without being aggressive — lots of orchard fruit and a hint of oak spice on the nose. Neat is the way to go here, maybe with a few drops of water to open it up.
