Expert Review

7/10

The first distillery in Scotland to receive a Royal Warrant — granted by King William IV in 1835 after he ordered Brackla whisky shipped to St James's Palace. Founded 1812 by Captain William Fraser on the Cawdor Castle estate near Nairn. Known as 'The King's Own Whisky.' Every monarch since has renewed the warrant. Finished in Oloroso sherry casks, 46%, non-chill filtered.
