Tasting Notes

Nose

Light and floral — honeysuckle, vanilla pod, lime, cut grass, sandalwood — pleasant but thin

Palate

Light-bodied — spiced apple, pear, green apple, toasted sunflower seeds, vanilla — alcohol comes through mid-palate with mild bitterness

Finish

Short to medium — orchard fruit and honey upfront, white pepper kick, drying oak, caramel, trailing into a lingering bitterness that detracts

Founded by UFC champion Conor McGregor in 2018, named after his home district of Crumlin (Dublin 12). McGregor partnered with master distiller David Elder (ex-Guinness). In 2021, Proximo Spirits (José Cuervo parent) acquired the brand for approximately $600 million. Triple distilled at Old Bushmills, aged in ex-bourbon casks. McGregor donates $5 per case to first responder charities.
