Pot still spice, dried fruit, a gentle oak warmth. Twelve years have given the Powers pot still character genuine maturity. Beneath the spice, honey, toffee and a warm, composed depth. More developed than Gold Label.
Palate
Spicy and mature — pot still pepper, dried fruit, a gentle warmth. Twelve years of maturation in bourbon and oloroso sherry casks have added genuine complexity. Mid-palate brings dark chocolate, a gentle warmth and a rich cereal depth. At 46%, excellent body.
Finish
Long, with pot still spice and dried fruit sustaining impressively.
