Tasting Notes

Nose

Cold hearth ash and drying seaweed first, then a slow unfurling of beeswax, lemon oil and old library leather. Peat has receded into something almost herbal — dried thyme, camphor and a faint medicinal iodine.

Palate

Oily and restrained, the smoke now a shadow rather than a statement. Brine, candied lemon peel, tobacco leaf and a long thread of bitter orange. Oak is present but polite, carrying cocoa nib and dried hay.

Finish

Very long and drying. Ash, sea salt, white pepper and a final whisper of extinguished bonfire that refuses to leave.
