Nose
Fresh-cracked black pepper, dill, mint leaf, and rye bread crust. Orange oil and a touch of anise behind.
Palate
Muscular and oily — rye grain up front, then caraway, cedar, dark honey and a wave of baking spice. Each barrel varies, but the structure is always firm.
Finish
Dry, spicy and long — clove, white pepper, and a lingering herbal bitterness like wormwood and fennel.
