Nose
Sherry sweetness, dried fruit, vanilla. The oloroso influence is immediately apparent — raisin, fig, a hint of orange peel. Beneath the sherry, malt and a gentle warmth. Generous and inviting for the price.
Palate
Smooth and sherried — dried fruit, toffee, a gentle spice. The Macallan and Highland Park components provide genuine quality to the blend, and the sherry cask finishing adds a richness that most blends at this price cannot match. A touch of oak and mild smoke mid-palate.
Finish
Medium, with sherry warmth and dried fruit fading into a clean, malty close.
