Nose

Palate

Full-bodied and complex — stewed fruit, dark toffee, game meat, a flash of black pepper. The 2.81 distillation gives the spirit a weight and meatiness unique in Speyside. Sherry cask influence adds dried fruit and chocolate without dominating. Mid-palate brings roasted walnut and a savoury umami depth.
