Picked this up on a whim and I'm glad I did. There's a lovely mix of dried fruit, dark chocolate, and that classic Mortlach beefiness on the palate. I drink it neat and it opens up beautifully after about ten minutes in the glass.

I've had a few Gordon & MacPhail bottlings and this Mortlach 15 is up there with the best. Rich meaty nose that Mortlach is known for, with stewed fruits and a hint of sulphur that just works. At 46% it's got enough punch without being aggressive. Absolutely worth the price.
