Tasting Notes

Nose

Pear nectar and white peach, then a deeper rumble of honeyed barley, vanilla pod and beeswax. A faint herbal twist — pine needle and crushed shiso — speaks of the mountain forest outside the warehouse doors.

Palate

Lush and oily. Apricot jam, malt loaf, manuka honey and orange oil. Mid-palate brings cocoa nib, toasted almond and a sherry-cask raisin note that thickens the texture.

Finish

Long and spiced — clove, ginger, dark chocolate and a final flourish of dried mango sweetness.
