Tasting Notes

Nose

Deep raisin, candied orange peel, dark chocolate and a generous wash of vanilla. Polished oak, cinnamon and a faint whisper of dried rose.

Palate

Velvet-textured and unmistakably sherried. Sultana, fig, brown sugar and a thread of espresso. The oak is rounded rather than dry, leaving room for stewed apple and clove.

Finish

Long, warming and elegant. Dark cocoa, tobacco leaf and a slow-fading sweetness of treacle and orange.
