Lagavulin 1988 Distillers Edition / Bot.2004 Islay Whisky

A collector's piece from Lagavulin's late-1980s distillations, finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and bottled in 2004. At £800 it's a premium ask, but this early Distillers Edition captures an era of unhurried Islay whisky-making that's increasingly hard to find.
