Tasting Notes

Nose

Treacle, raisin, dark chocolate, pipe tobacco and a wreath of seaweedy peat smoke. Walnut and burnt orange peel sit beneath.

Palate

Thick and syrupy. Christmas pudding meets bonfire — figs, prunes, salted liquorice and tar. The peat is the bass note, not the melody.

Finish

Very long. Sweet smoke, dark sugars and a salty, dry exit that lingers in the chest.
