Tasting Notes

Nose

Peat smoke, malt, a gentle citrus brightness. The smoke is medium-bodied — earthy and campfire-like rather than maritime. Beneath the peat, honey, vanilla and a clean barley note. More Highland than Islay in character.

Palate

Smoky and malty — peat, cereal sweetness, a gentle fruit note. The peated spirit from Loch Lomond's versatile still configuration produces a smoke that is robust but approachable. A touch of vanilla and a gentle oak warmth mid-palate. At 46%, well-presented.

Finish

Medium, with earthy peat smoke and a clean, malty sweetness.

Loch Lomond's peated expression — smoky Highland malt from one of Scotland's most versatile distilleries.
