Tasting Notes

Nose

Waxy, herbaceous — cantaloupe, orange, eucalyptus, beeswax, vanilla, ginger, tobacco leaf

Palate

Creamy medium body — honey-citrus balance, mango, melon, mint, brazil nuts, toffee, salty seaweed maritime note

Finish

Honeycomb, tobacco, dark chocolate — distinctly different from typical Speyside

Expert Review

8/10

The only truly coastal Speyside distillery, sat on the edge of Buckie. Long key component of Bell's blend. Label features the Oystercatcher shorebird. F&F range discontinued. 43%. Cult F&F favourite — distinctive coastal/waxy character that stands out from Speyside norm.
