12 reviewsI was curious how the 2024 relaunch would compare to the old HP 15 and honestly it's lovely. Big heathery smoke on the nose with dried fruit and a bit of orange peel. At 44% it's got enough weight to stand up neat without feeling hot. One of the better Highland Parks I've had in years.

4 March 2026Picked this up on a whim and it's become my go-to evening whisky. The smoke is gentle, more campfire embers than bonfire, with raisins and a hint of salted caramel on the finish. My wife who normally hates peated whisky actually asked for a second taste, so that tells you how approachable it is at 44%.

11 February 2026Really enjoyable dram — honey, gentle peat, dark chocolate, and something almost waxy underneath. I drink it neat and it opens up nicely after five minutes in the glass. My only gripe is £95 feels steep for a 15 year old at 44%, especially when there are good 18s creeping into that range on sale.

16 January 2026Pleasant enough with the classic HP profile — smoky heather, dried fruit, a touch of sherry sweetness. But at this price point I expected a bit more complexity from a 15 year old. I kept reaching for my Springbank instead. Would probably enjoy it more with a single ice cube to bring out the sweeter notes.
