12 reviewsPicked this up on a whim and I'm glad I did. Dried fruits, plum jam, and a hint of orange peel — it's like Christmas cake in a glass. I drink it neat with a few drops of water to open it up. The 43% ABV keeps it approachable without feeling watered down.

15 January 2026The Vindima is Glenmorangie at its best — that port cask finish gives it this gorgeous berry and dark chocolate thing on the nose that I can't get enough of. At 43% it's easy drinking neat, maybe too easy for a bottle that costs nearly a hundred quid. Still, 16 years of age shows in the depth here. One of my favourite after-dinner pours.

12 January 2026Brought this to a tasting night with mates and it was the bottle everyone kept going back to. The port influence gives it a sweetness that even the non-whisky drinkers enjoyed. Nose is all ripe berries and toffee, finish lingers nicely. The litre bottle is a smart move at that price point — works out decent value per dram compared to the 700ml offerings.

11 January 2026Nice whisky, don't get me wrong — creamy vanilla from the bourbon cask base with that port wine sweetness layered on top. But at £99 for a litre I expected a bit more complexity from a 16 year old. I keep reaching for my Quinta Ruban instead, which does a similar thing for less money. Worth trying before you commit to a full bottle.
