I keep coming back to this one. Classic Speyside honey and orchard fruit on the nose, and at 40% it's easy drinking neat after dinner. Not the most complex dram I own but it's consistent and pleasant every single time.

The nose is the star here — fresh pear, honey, light floral notes that are unmistakably Speyside. Palate is softer than I expected at 40% but still enjoyable. I drink it neat with a few drops of water and it opens up nicely.

Bought this for my brother who's just getting into whisky and he loved it. It's approachable without being boring — sweet malty notes, a bit of vanilla fudge, gentle spice on the finish. I ended up drinking most of it myself which says something.
