Silky smooth — sherry oak, marzipan, cinnamon, ginger, apple juice, honey, apricots, raisins, the three cask types each contributing a layer, the solera vat integrating everything seamlessly

Satisfyingly rich — lingering sweetness, the solera system's contribution to consistency and complexity evident in the warm, integrated close

Expert Review

8/10

Three cask types — sherry, bourbon, and virgin oak — married in a solera vat that hasn't been fully emptied since 1998. Each batch draws from the residual liquid of every previous batch, building complexity over decades. Sweet heather honey, marzipan, cinnamon, and ginger. Silky smooth.
