Tasting Notes

Nose

Rich Christmas cake, stewed dark cherries, walnut oil and polished oak. A thread of dried orange peel lifts the sherry weight.

Palate

Full-bodied and muscular. Raisin, dark chocolate and sticky toffee, followed by clove, cracked black pepper and a dry leathery note.

Finish

Long, warming and gently tannic, with dried fig, bitter cocoa and lingering oak spice.
