7.9/10Glencadam's 15 Year Old Oloroso finish is a composed, well-aged Highland malt that pairs genuine maturity with rich sherry cask influence at a fair price point. A confident dram that rewards patience and a little water.

12 reviewsPerfectly nice whisky with rich sherry sweetness and some nutty, raisiny depth. I enjoyed it neat over an evening but at nearly a hundred quid I kept thinking about what else I could buy at that price. For a 15 year old sherry finish it's solid, just not a standout in a crowded field.

9 February 2026The oloroso finish really comes through here — dried fruits, dark chocolate, and a hint of orange peel on the nose. At 46% it's got enough punch to hold up neat without being aggressive. Glencadam doesn't get enough love as a Highland distillery and this bottling shows why they should.

23 January 2026I grabbed this on a whim and it's been a real treat. The sherry cask gives it this gorgeous layer of stewed plums and Christmas cake spice, but it stays balanced — you still get that clean Glencadam spirit underneath. Non-chill filtered at 46% too, which I always appreciate. Would absolutely buy another bottle.

6 January 2026Had this neat after a big meal and it hit the spot perfectly. Warm toffee, walnuts, and a long finish with a bit of dry oak. Fifteen years has given it nice complexity without losing its character. Not the cheapest option out there but I'd say it earns its price tag.
